blackball Last Summer i was lucky enough to have my camera with me during a Jubilee in Fairhope. The Food Network contacted me about my pictures and wanted to use them for a show. The show Aired tonight and talks briefly about Jubilees you can watch the clip below. however they got one fact a bit wrong. they said a Jubilee occurs once every 2 to 3 years. The truth is they occur quite a few times a year mainly around late July August and September.  Also one of my pictures used is my wife Shelby holding a CastNet in her teeth and her Dad and a Friend picking up Shrimp. This is the second time in a month Shelby has been on the Food network. Doug Roberts Haha, I could tell in the video that they could have done a little more research. I have never heard of Mobile referred to as the "Picnic City"....but nonetheless still cool your shot was on National TV!
