blackball when i was a kid this used to be just a round brick structure that the Artisan Well water would come from. i would walk on the beach from my house in Fairhope all the time to this well in Montrose, i guess they have upgraded the well. lumis Artesian Well Montrose

pete last I saw the well the bricks were still there but broken into large segments and the pipe was barely coming out of ground and was all slimed up with algae. I drank from it a time or two on a hot summer day. Kind degrades it using the plastic pipe. Doesn't seem to do it justice.
