Cedar Point Special Stauter Built stauter Boats have become a bit of a legend in the Mobile area. Mr. Lawrence Stauter started building wooden boats on the causeway in 1947. Thirty and forty year old Stauter boats can still be seen running the rivers of the Mobile Delta today. Stauter Boats are made to order. lumis

porpoises Mobile Bay porpoises, there were probably about a dozen and we counted at least 3 baby's it looked like they were newborns and the parents were teaching them how to swim. wish i had my zoom lens with me but i only brought my wide angle lumis

GPS mount I got this nice GPS - depth finder. I did not want to drill a bunch of holes into the wood on my boat... so.. Thanks to Jamie Ward i now have this really nice mount for it. I have no skill whatsoever when it comes to working with wood.. its a good thing that one of my best friends is a Master at it.
